Heat Treatment

Temperature: 1000-1050°C
Cooling: Oil quenching or air cooling
Tempering

Heat to 850-880°C, hold for adequate time, then furnace cool to 500°C, followed by air cooling. Annealed hardness: ≤255 HB.
