Hastelloy C2000 Alloy (UNS N06200) — Composition, Properties, Equivalent Grades & Supplier

Hastelloy C2000 (UNS N06200, W.Nr. 2.4675) is a copper-bearing nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy developed by Haynes International, engineered to deliver exceptional corrosion resistance across both oxidizing and reducing acid environments within a single chemistry. Its balanced composition of approximately 23% chromium, 16% molybdenum, and 1.6% copper achieves the broadest corrosion coverage among all wrought C-family alloys, resisting sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion. The alloy serves as a universal solution for mixed-acid chemical processing where process streams alternate between oxidizing and reducing regimes.

FUSHUN METAL manufactures Hastelloy C2000 using VIM, VAR, and PESR triple-melt pathways to achieve ultra-low gas content (H ≤ 0.9 ppm, O ≤ 13 ppm) and superior micro-cleanliness. Every heat undergoes precise composition control ensuring copper stays in solid solution and carbon remains below 0.01%, effectively preventing grain-boundary carbide precipitation that would otherwise compromise corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zone. Certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9120B, FUSHUN METAL delivers full material traceability with 100% ultrasonic testing per ASTM A388, positive material identification via XRF, and third-party inspectable MTR documentation on every shipment.
