1. Specifications & Capability
FUSHUN METAL forges leveller rolls and skin-pass rolls in Cr3-series steel, 300-600 mm body diameter, for plate and strip finishing lines. Rolls are supplied precision ground to the required surface finish and straightness.
The rolls are forged with a minimum 4:1 reduction ratio and quenched and tempered, then precision ground to give the surface quality a finishing line demands.

2. Components & Service Conditions
Leveller rolls flatten and straighten plate and strip in a multi-roll leveller, while skin-pass rolls apply a light reduction to strip to control surface finish and flatness. Both operate in direct contact with the strip, so surface quality and dimensional accuracy are the controlling requirements.
The Cr3 steel gives a good combination of surface hardness and toughness, and the forged grain flow keeps the roll dimensionally stable through repeated grinding. Precision grinding of the finished roll provides the surface finish and roundness that transfer directly to the product surface.

Composition is agreed to the user specification; the chromium content provides the surface hardness and wear resistance for finishing-line service.
4. Manufacturing Process
Melting. FUSHUN METAL melts in an electric arc furnace with ladle refining for cleanliness.
Forging. The roll is forged with a minimum 4:1 reduction ratio on a 20/80 MN fast forging press, then quenched and tempered for the ordered hardness and toughness.
Finishing. The roll is precision ground to the required surface finish, roundness and straightness.
Testing. UT, hardness and dimensional verification, with full traceability.
5. Standards & Certification
Leveller and skin-pass rolls are supplied to the user specification, with inspection certificates under EN 10204 3.1. FUSHUN METAL holds ISO 9001 and AS9120B certification.
